Research Interests:

I am primarily interested in how values come to play a defining role in the way people see the world. Through learning, habit, and cognitive dissonance, people's beliefs about themselves and their environment become heavily weighted to accommodate their sacred norms. I plan on investigating how these processes occur and how they can be altered.
