How do children learn about language, people, and the world around them?

Our research focuses on children between the ages of 2 and 24 months, and explores how children distinguish between speech and nonsense sounds, how they differentiate between humans and other animals, and how they discover that speech and gestures allow humans to communicate. In our studies, parents are always with their children, while children are engaged in a fun and safe multimedia activity.

We invite you to help us discover how children learn and think by participating in one of our studies.
