Research

I began working in the Phelps Lab in June of 2004, assisting Andreas Olsson with a prepared learning study that used a racial outgroup paradigm to examine the prepared effect's applicability to this particular socially-learned fear.  As noted above, I'm a student in the business school, but I've recently made the decision to abandon the business world and go into the field of cognitive neuroscience.  In my own future research, I would like to study the neural substrates underlying religious states of consciousness, the feelings of purpose that can accompany them, and the external factors that endow the experience with sense of doctrinal significance.
