Industrial Organizational Psychology Program Faculty
Knowing you in small classes
NYU’s I/O faculty is dedicated to teaching and working with students in dynamic, interactive classes and through personal, individual mentoring. They choose to teach at NYU specifically because the classes are small and relationships develop among a networked community of scholars and practitioners.
Learn from scientist-practitioner role models
The faculty includes distinguished field leaders that have served or are currently senior human capital consultants or leaders at top tier companies and consulting firms. All instructors hold Ph.D. degrees from recognized institutions and have significant practical business experience demonstrating change and bottom line results.
World-class research faculty
For students intending to pursue a Ph.D. program following the MA, or conduct an MA thesis, there are broad opportunities to participate in NYU faculty research programs. Students may select from other courses within the psychology department and work with faculty across the domains of social, cognitive, forensic, clinical and developmental psychology.

“My greatest takeaway from the program was some of the group projects for real business clients. The professors have the background to shed light on real-world experiences and worked with us in our small teams to deliver solutions.” |
